Tasting Notes
잔을 코끝으로 가져가면 1989년 증류된 라프로익 10년 이언 헨더슨이 평소보다 과일이 도드라진 향을 먼저 보여준다. 향을 들이켜면 시럽에 절인 파인애플과 망고 뒤로 TCP와 요오드, 젖은 삼베의 약품 같은 피트가 깔린다. 40도의 술을 한 모금 머금으면 바닐라와 오크 향신료 위로 나무 연기와 피트, 라놀린과 장뇌가 번진다. 삼키고 나면 허브 같은 피트 연기와 훈제차, 소나무 수지의 끝맛이 길게 이어진다.

hey, Bonfanti rotation 76! I’m kidding. But it is fruitier than some other recent batches to my mind, some pineapple in syrup, some mango chunks, then damp hessian and cooling wort. Behind that a, softer than usual I would say, waft of TCP and iodine. I have to say, this generally softer and fruitier profile is really great
restaurant Palate
a more typical modern arrival, with a little more weight towards the vanilla, the oak spice, but still balanced well enough by banana chips, some wood smoke and peat, some lanolin and camphor and then a bit of pine wood and wet rope. It feels less peaty overall than recent years, but at the same time the palate is still a tad too driven by the wood influence for my taste. In time those underlying DNA building blocks of peat smoke, iodine and seawater come through
