버팔로 트레이스 2001 실험 시리즈는 노즈에서 꿀과 라이 곡물, 바닐라에 따뜻한 톱밥과 메이플 시럽이 얹히며 카라멜 쪽으로 드러난다. 개성은 뚜렷하나 신선함보다 카라멜 무게가 앞선다. 45도의 팰럿은 다소 니스 같은 오크가 강하게 밀려들며 톡 쏘는 자극과 함께 구조감을 세운다. 피니시는 길지만 건조하고 오크 탄닌이 지배하는, 실험적 배합의 솔직한 결로 마무리된다.
