Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 축축한 흙과 감초, 뿌리채소의 파머리한 인상이 먼저 두드러지고 바닐라와 오크, 옅은 향수 뉘앙스에 보모어 특유의 피트가 서서히 강해진다. 팰럿은 배 드롭스와 감초 캔디의 단맛 위로 후추와 피트 스모크가 겹치며 구조감이 단단하게 잡힌다. 46도의 도수가 15년 숙성의 밀도를 지탱하고 남프랑스 스위트 와인 피니시의 옅은 붉은 과실이 명확하게 드러난다. 피니시는 길고 라벤더 시럽과 소금기 어린 스모크의 여운이 남는다. 라 메종 뒤 위스키를 위한 이 1989 보모어는 피트와 와인 캐스크의 독특한 조합을 보여준다.

really farmy, with lots of liquorice and roots. Gets very bourbonny (vanilla, oak). Some interesting perfumy notes, plus some dried fruits. The peat is then growing stronger, getting farmier and farmier
restaurant Palate
lots of candies at first, pear drops, English liquorice, parfait amour liquor. Gets sweeter and sweeter (plain white sugar). Lots of pepper then, and some peat… Sugar and pepper! Long finish, on lavender syrup and hay jelly, with a pinch of salt. The nose is absolutely great, but the palate is a little too much on ‘chemical’ sweets. 85 points .
