Tasting Notes
1969년 증류해 셰리 캐스크에서 21년을 보낸 이 전설적인 보모어는 우드와 시간이 빚어낸 깊이가 첫 모금까지 일관되게 흐른다. 코에는 잘 익은 열대 과일과 망고, 은은한 훈연이 오래된 셰리의 달콤함과 포개진다. 입에서는 짙은 꿀과 말린 살구, 가벼운 바다 소금기가 부드럽게 번지고 오래 묵은 피트가 뒤를 받친다. 1978년 병입된 세월의 흔적답게 짙은 호박빛 잔 안에서 트로피컬한 과일과 잔잔한 연기의 여운이 길고 우아하게 남는다.

forget it, this is just going to hurt. Pink grapefruit, delicate oils and waxes, a tidal wave of maritime elements—you get the idea. Really, it’s a whole, seamless entity, defying decomposition into individual descriptors. With water: a sort of oily tension dominates here, in the best possible way. If I were to show off (again, S.), I’d liken it to the engine oil of Ayrton Senna’s McLaren after 300km of fierce battle with Prost’s

absolutely outrageous. Salinity turned up to 11, alongside oils, waxes, citrus galore… With water: quintessential Bowmore. Salty, waxy, brimming with fermented fruits, citrus, seaweed, aged tar, and long-forgotten medicinal liqueurs
