Tasting Notes
잔을 채운 빛은 분홍기 없는 맑은 황금이다. 보모어 14년 보르도 캐스크 피니시는 아일라의 짭조름한 피트에 붉은 와인의 과실을 조심스레 포갠다. 파타 네그라 햄과 레드커런트 젤리, 월계수 잎의 향이 훈연과 얽힌다. 43도의 도수 아래 입안은 절제된 블랙커런트와 체리, 으깬 통후추의 풍미로 짭짤달콤하게 흐른다. 여운은 제법 길게 이어지며 소금기와 붉은 과실이 함께 잠긴다.

pata negra ham with redcurrant jelly, patchouli, bay leaf, and the usual saline Bowmore peat. In any case, it's not the calamity we had feared so far, at least for the moment
restaurant Palate
they’ve shown a bit of tact here, it doesn’t burst into red fruit jelly sweets, and even the blackcurrants and cherries have been kept in check. No real clashes to speak of, just that odd sweet-and-savoury pudding note which remains a little baffling. Increasing amounts of crushed peppercorns too

fairly long, teetering on that tightrope between saline peat and the red fruits from Bordeaux – assuming it really is red Bordeaux, of course
