Tasting Notes
코를 가져가면 활발한 유럽 오크가 지배한 옛 보모어답게 성냥과 가죽, 흑후추와 타임, 캐러웨이의 알싸함이 먼저 두드러진다. 향신료가 강해 다소 까다롭고 그린한 인상을 준다. 팰럿에서는 캐스크가 원액을 압도한 듯 스파이스와 탄 캐러멜, 정향과 당밀이 명확하게 드러난다. 피니시는 재와 스파이스, 마멀레이드로 길게 발전하고 탄 설탕이 뒤를 잡는다. 1988년 페스티벌 기념 병입다운 강한 우드 캐릭터의 구조감이 또렷하다.

ouch. Used matches, leather, black pepper, thyme, caraway, ginger, plywood… Some very active European oak involved, it seems. I find this very spicy and green nose a tad difficult, but let’s see what happens on the palate…
restaurant Palate
some kind of wood and whisky blend. Extremely modern, I would say, the distillate’s almost anecdotal and the casks are doing all the work, as it appears. Spices, burnt caramel, cloves, molasses, barbecued Mars bars… I’m sorry but I don’t find my Bowmore in there
timer Finish
rather long, ashy, spicy, marmalade-y. Burnt sugar and bitter chocolate
