Tasting Notes
로크 인달 바닷가에 선 보모어는 바다에 맞닿은 숙성고에서 위스키에 짠 내를 입힌다. 버번과 올로로소를 거친 15년산은 잔에서 맑은 금빛을 낸다. 부싯돌 같은 미네랄과 중간 세기의 피트 연기에 패션프루트와 오렌지, 망고의 과일향이 산뜻하게 겹친다. 43도의 도수로 입안에서는 적당한 피트와 소금기에 설탕에 절인 오렌지와 바닐라 퍼지의 단맛이 또렷이 깃든다. 마무리는 옅은 쌉쌀함과 바다 내음이 길게 남는다.

air Nose
much, much cleaner than the Legend, flinty and very, very coastal, medium-peaty. Very nice notes of passion fruits, oranges and mangos just like in some much older versions. Great freshness and most enjoyable smokiness, with faint hints of wet dog. Huge progress when compared with earlier batches – Bowmore 12 is truly back as far as I can tell. Bravo!

ah yes, this is excellent. Perfect ‘medium’ peatiness, lots of salt, notes of candied oranges, vanilla fudge… Again a slight slump at the middle – the 40% again, I guess – but the finish is better again, with a nice bitterness (green tea). Typically a gentle peat monster and no floral or perfumy notes whatsoever. 85 points . Bowmore 15 yo 'Darkest' (43%, OB, 2007) Finished for two years in oloroso sherry
