붉은 기 도는 밤색이 잔 속에 진하게 어린다. 향은 흑설탕과 구운 옥수수로 열리고 뒤이어 정향과 가죽이 또렷하게 드러난다. 첫 모금은 버터스카치와 토피의 단맛으로 입천장을 천천히 덮다가 뉴 차드 오크가 남긴 탄 기운으로 방향을 바꾼다. 2017년 병입 시점의 이 배럴은 나무 쪽으로 한 걸음 더 가 있다. 끝맛은 후추와 다크초콜릿으로 서서히 잦아든다.
