잔을 크게 한 번 돌리고 코를 대면 흑설탕과 버터스카치가 앞다투어 올라온다. 뒤이어 담뱃잎과 시가 박스가 자리를 잡는다. 한 모금 머금어 오래 두면 45도의 온기가 퍼지며 계피와 육두구가 차례로 드러난다. 삼킨 뒤에는 2017년 병입된 이 싱글 배럴의 마른 오크가 잔을 내려놓은 뒤에도 남는다. 18년 숙성 버번 중에서도 나무 쪽으로 기운 성격이다.
