Tasting Notes
짙은 황금빛이 잔 속에 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 1973년 증류된 스페이사이드의 발베니는 오래된 시대의 풍부한 향을 머금는다. 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 밀랍과 옅은 향신료의 향이 코끝에 부드럽게 비친다. 46도의 도수는 입안에서 꿀과 바닐라, 마른 과일의 단맛을 둥글게 채운다. 둔 에이딘이 선별한 1973년산다운 매끄러운 깊이가 중심을 잡는다. 긴 여운은 오크의 달콤함과 곡물감을 천천히 남기며 식는다.

a rather farmier, less creamy, more metallic version of Balvenie although the notes of ripe plums and apricots are well there, together with some acacia honey and quite some vanilla crème. it's rather simpler, grassier, much less luscious, rounded and sweet than expected. The oak's maybe a tad loud (sawdust, flour) and it just seems to block the 'inherent fruitiness', making the whole frankly tea-ish although there seems to be some nice notes of fresh oranges in the background
