오래된 호박이 빛을 머금고 잔 안에서 잔잔히 움직인다. 1968년 발베니가 증류한 원액을 32년 숙성시킨 이 빈티지 캐스크는 잘 익은 꿀과 마른 살구, 캐러멜라이즈된 배와 옅은 마지팬의 향이 우아하게 떠오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 50.8도의 알코올이 부드러운 토피와 헤이즐넛의 고소함, 옅은 시나몬과 보리 시럽의 깊은 단맛을 입안 가득 풀어낸다. 발베니 특유의 꿀스러운 윤기가 32년의 시간을 통해 더욱 깊어졌고 마무리는 차분한 오크의 결로 길게 흐른다.

lots of herbal teas, spearmint, a bit of camphor. Some coffee, getting quite herbal. Very nice

bold attack, on cardboard (a nice cardboard ;-)) and icing sugar. Cocoa, ripe kiwi, cape gooseberries. Very creamy mouth feel, a most enjoyable old Balvenie. 90 points . Balvenie 32 yo 1968/2000 ‘Vintage Cask’ (50.8%, OB, cask #7294, 180 bottles)
