맑은 황금빛이 잔에 부드럽게 고인다. 스페이사이드 발베니의 싱글 배럴 15년은 단일 통에서만 길러진 만큼 꿀과 바닐라, 잘 익은 배의 향이 둥글게 모여든다. 한 모금을 머금으면 오렌지 마멀레이드와 몰트 비스킷의 단맛이 매끄럽게 번지고, 그 사이로 가벼운 오크 향신료가 균형을 잡는다. 47.8도의 도수는 부담 없이 입 안을 감싸며, 여운에는 헤더 꿀과 따뜻한 시나몬의 잔향이 은은하게 머문다. 1981년의 정갈한 스페이사이드 성격이 끝까지 또렷하다.
