Tasting Notes
맑은 금빛이 잔에 부드럽게 어린다. 스페이사이드 발베니가 버번과 셰리를 거쳐 럼 캐스크에서 마무리된 클래식한 개성을 잔에 담아낸다. 케이크와 마르멜로, 바닐라와 아카시아 꿀의 향에 은은한 럼의 결이 겹친다. 입안에서는 꿀에 절인 자두와 잘 익은 사과의 단맛이 부드럽게 흐르고 흙내음이 뒤를 받친다. 43도의 여운은 허브와 꿀의 결로 이어지다 끝에 옅은 쌉쌀함을 남긴다.

well now, the classic young Balvenie style is here—cake, quince, mirabelle, vanilla and acacia honey—and the rum stays relatively discreet. Likely not Hampden, probably Cuban as usual?
restaurant Palate
no, this is good, definitely, very easy, very soft but not without backbone, with honeyed touches beyond the assorted plums and ripe apple, plus a few earthy hints—maybe that’s the rum speaking. Also a bit of banana, though ripe banana does appear in Balvenie without the need for added rum
timer Finish
not very long but pleasant, more herbaceous and honeyed at once. Only the aftertaste is a little bitter—what a wee shame
