air Nose
green, grainy, even mashier than the ‘Rioja’, with notes of ginger tonic, raw wool, wet wood, milk and porridge. Rough and quite immature I’m afraid, but maybe the palate will be nicer
restaurant Palate
it’s not. Very bizarrely perfumy and kind of ‘dirty’. ‘Chemical’ orange sweets. Prickly finish. Forget. 55 points . June 7, 2007 TASTING – TWO 1977 BUNNAHABHAINS Bunnahabhain 1977/2006 (43%, Private Cellar Collection)
