Tasting Notes
오래된 금빛이 잔 안에서 깊게 빛난다. 1968년 증류해 43년을 보낸 부나하벤은 대개 피트를 쓰지 않는 아일라 증류소로, 부드럽고 짭짤한 품성을 반세기에 가까운 시간으로 무르익게 했다. 버번 호그스헤드에서 온 잘 익은 과일과 꿀, 옅은 소금기의 향이 우아하게 감돈다. 45.7도의 한 모금은 보리 단맛과 바닐라, 견과가 매끄럽게 입을 적신다. 더 위스키 에이전시가 병입한 이 노장은 왁스와 소금기의 잔향을 길게 끌어간다.

pure honey at first nosing. I mean, really, plain and pure honey. Or rather a blend of various kinds of honeys, what we sometimes call ‘all-flowers’ (my dear dad used to be a beekeeper). And maybe tarte tatin and other rich pies… And maybe also a little banana flambéed
restaurant Palate
honey again, and big time, but it’s rather honeydew in fact, with these resinous and oily notes. Plenty of beeswax, propolis… The oak is loud and clear but it’s completely an asset here, it never ‘fights the distillate’

medium, still very honeyed, with a little mint in the aftertaste, from the big yet gentle oak
