Tasting Notes
리필 호그스헤드에서 16년을 보낸 숙성이 이 분나하벤의 부드러운 골격을 다듬었다. 에디션 스피리츠가 담아낸 만큼 잘 익은 배와 꿀, 옅은 바다 소금기가 맑게 올라온다. 입에서는 보리 단맛과 시트러스, 미네랄이 매끄러운 질감으로 흐르고, 54.3도의 도수가 또렷한 힘을 더한다. 피트를 거의 쓰지 않는 분나하벤다운 깨끗한 해풍의 결이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 옅은 금빛 끝에는 소금기와 보리의 깔끔한 여운이 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
quite some sherry it seems, of the flinty and sulphury kind (good sulphur here). Whiffs of olive oil and paraffin, shoe polish and coal smoke. Soot. Gets meatier after that, on ham and fresh wild mushrooms. Humus, tobacco and mint. Very nice
restaurant Palate
excellent sherry, nervous, with what could well be peat in the background. Very good fruitiness (raspberry eau-de-vie) and absolutely no heaviness here. Roasted nuts, chocolate, rose jelly, white pepper and maple syrup plus hints of juniper berries
timer Finish
medium long, clean, sherried, mid-dry mid-sweet. Balanced, eh!
