Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 짙은 다크 앰버빛이 잔 벽을 무겁게 타고 내린다. 코끝에 가져가면 당밀과 호두 케이크, 담뱃잎이 먼저 오르고 물을 더하면 파슬리와 흙의 뉘앙스가 드러난다. PX 버트에서 숙성한 55.7도의 이 부나하벤 핸드필을 한 모금 머금으면 호두 껍질과 아티초크의 쌉쌀함이 강하게 파고든다. 삼키면 데메라라 설탕의 단맛과 쌉싸름한 당밀이 매우 길게 이어지는 도전적인 마무리를 남긴다.

restaurant Palate
I'm sure you know palo cortado sits between fino and oloroso. The problem is that this is extremely grassy, acrid, with tons of walnut skins, artichoke wine, and just burnt moussaka. Very hard, very dry, very green, very tannic, very bitter. With water: more sweetness but it remains very bitter and extremely challenging. Whisky for masochists indeed
