Tasting Notes
air Nose
fruity, vanilla, ginger bread, malted cereals, hint of smoke, spices. Complex and inviting. There is no hesitation here, the New Bruichladdich outperforms the old one. The palate is powerful yet finely balanced and long. Nice toffee cask influence but like the 1998 quite discreet. A real pleasure dram and, dare I say, a wonderful surprise because this is pure Bruichladdich with no extra additions. Quite addictive! Glorious tribute to the new Bruichladdich! 90 points after a few drams ;-)
