칼바도스 영향을 받은 버번 캐스크 안에서 27년을 보낸 시간이 1990년 브룩라디 원액의 캐릭터를 결정한다. 노즈에는 잘 익은 사과와 옅은 시드르, 마른 풀잎 향이 또렷이 드러난다. 입에서는 꿀과 살구, 가벼운 시나몬이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르고 46.1도의 단정한 알코올이 균형을 받친다. 잔에 잠긴 옅은 호박빛 위로 아일라 비피티드 브룩라디 특유의 산뜻한 과실이 길게 이어진다.

a more civilised version this time but it is well in the style of the best sherried Mortlachs, with this distinctive meatiness mixed with quite some coffee, malt and chocolate. Hints of tar and smoked tea (lapsang souchong) that may hint at ‘good’ sulphur but it’s in no way sulphury. With water: more leather, very old wine (old Bourgogne), civet, game… It’s complex
