Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 로랜드를 연상시키는 풀 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 요구르트와 건초, 버터에 이어 딜과 파슬리 같은 허브 노트가 명확하게 드러나며 셰리의 흔적은 거의 없다. 팰럿은 50도에서 강하게 열리지만 의외로 단맛이 있어 사탕수수 설탕과 조린 사과, 홍차가 이어진다. 피니시는 길지만 전개는 단순하고 커피콩의 쌉쌀함이 남는다. 밀짚빛 외관 그대로 맥캘란답지 않은 산뜻한 성격이 특징이다.

ha! That’s Macallan?! Fresh like a Lowlander, almost grassy. Sour milk, Indian yoghurt (lassee), hay, straw… Butter, dill, parsley, and yes, hints of white rum and old wood. Rather nice! Develops on cider
restaurant Palate
bold and powerful, yet a little sweetish. Candy sugar, cooked apples, tea. Not too complex, I’d say. Quite grassy. Coffee beans. Not much development. Hints of cold, sugared coffee – or Nescafe.
