Flavor Profile
Tasting Notes
맑은 금빛이 잔 안쪽을 은은히 채운다. 처음에는 새 셰리 버트의 참나무가 앞서지만 곧 마멀레이드와 몰트의 단내가 그 자리를 밀어낸다. 자두와 졸인 체리, 희미한 장미 꽃잎의 향이 뒤따른다. 43.6도의 입안은 꿀과 감귤 껍질, 생강으로 시작해 스페큘로스 비스킷과 계피로 옮겨가고 찻잎의 마른 결이 뒤를 정돈한다. 여운은 제법 길게 이어지며 쓴 오렌지와 설탕에 절인 체리, 초콜릿의 잔상을 남긴다.

the oak is a little prominent at first, as is often the case with many contemporary official malts, but the marmalade and maltiness quickly come through. Then lots of damsons and stewed cherries. There is indeed also a faint touch of rose petal, which may well be the aforementioned orchid
restaurant Palate
nothing to complain about here, it’s good, initially on honey, citrus zest and ginger, then comes the speculoos and quite simply cinnamon. And I can’t help but detect a little tea, somewhat drying as well, though that’s quite common with malts matured in fairly active casks
timer Finish
fairly long, rather on bitter oranges, candied cherries, chocolate and dried raisins. A hint of coffee at the end, that must be from the casks too
