Tasting Notes
앰버빛이 잔 안에서 진하게 흔들린다. 향은 거의 와인에 가까운 셰리로 열려 커피와 다크 초콜릿, 럼과 쓴 오렌지가 겹치고 볶은 땅콩의 고소함이 뒤를 받친다. 59.8도의 입은 크림처럼 매끄럽다가 곧 올로로소의 짙은 단맛과 당밀의 끈적함으로 밀고 들어온다. 2004년 병입된 이 소사이어티 24.81번은 이름 그대로 달고 진한 쪽으로 기울어 있다. 여운은 길지만 마르게 조여들며 끝난다.

starts with some very bold but rather balanced sherry – almost vinous – with lots of coffee, dark chocolate and rum, as well as bitter oranges, Corinthian raisins and roasted peanuts. Some meaty notes as well, game, caramelized meat sauce… It’s nice
restaurant Palate
creamy, powerful, almost too aggressive, with an overwhelming, dominating oloroso and some sourish notes that are slightly excessive for my tastes. Lots of chocolate, dark rum, simple cognac… One has to really love sherry to enjoy this Macallan. The finish is long but rather drying – for sherry monsters freaks only. 83 points .
