Tasting Notes
향의 축은 진하고 묵직한 셰리다. 볶은 땅콩과 쓴 오렌지 껍질이 먼저 드러나고 그 뒤로 커피와 다크 럼, 카카오가 순차적으로 발전한다. 60도의 도수가 이 모든 요소를 강하게 밀어 올린다. 팰럿은 크림 같은 질감 위로 올로로소의 단맛이 지배적으로 퍼지며 약간의 신맛이 긴장을 만든다. 1990년 증류 후 12년치고 캐스크 영향이 뚜렷하다. 피니시는 길지만 건조하게 조여든다.

starts with some very bold but rather balanced sherry – almost vinous – with lots of coffee, dark chocolate and rum, as well as bitter oranges, Corinthian raisins and roasted peanuts. Some meaty notes as well, game, caramelized meat sauce… It’s nice
restaurant Palate
creamy, powerful, almost too aggressive, with an overwhelming, dominating oloroso and some sourish notes that are slightly excessive for my tastes. Lots of chocolate, dark rum, simple cognac… One has to really love sherry to enjoy this Macallan. The finish is long but rather drying – for sherry monsters freaks only. 83 points .
