잔을 코끝에 가져가면 젊은 스페이사이드답게 사과 주스와 배 주스, 옅은 맥주 냄새가 곧장 올라온다. 잔을 흔들면 나무 연기 한 자락과 생강 토닉 같은 청량함이 뒤섞인다. 한 모금을 머금으면 캐스크의 개입이 크지 않아 과일의 단맛이 그대로 드러나고 풍선껌 같은 가벼움이 스친다. 1988년 증류된 이 위스키는 삼킨 뒤 오렌지와 생강의 향을 적당한 길이로 이어간다.
