Tasting Notes
셰리 버트가 남긴 짙은 호박빛이 잔 속에 어둡게 잠겨 있다. 향은 위스키보다 오래된 코냑에 가까워 건포도와 자두, 캐러멜이 겹겹이 밀려온다. 입에서는 43도가 순하게 열리며 같은 건포도와 자두 위로 오렌지와 꿀의 단맛이 얹힌다. 몰트의 고소함은 그 아래에서 조용히 균형을 잡는다. 1988년에 증류해 2000년에 담긴 열두 해의 술은 나이보다 훨씬 진한 얼굴을 하고 있다. 여운은 감초와 커피의 쓴맛이 앞서며 다소 마르게 닫힌다.

better. Sure it’s good whisky. Raisins, prunes, raisins, prunes… Yeah well! Touches of oranges, honey, oranges, honey, oranges, honey (S., that’ll do). And guess what, there is some malt in there. The body’s pretty okay. Ish
timer Finish
gets a little bitter, a tad too liquoricy, and oddly leafy. Strange aftertaste with burnt notes and quite some coffee
