Tasting Notes
뉴 아메리칸 오크 호그스헤드의 영향이 향의 골격을 잡는다. 노즈는 백단향과 시가, 말린 무화과가 차례로 선명하게 잡히며 새 오크에서 온 바닐라와 톱밥 뉘앙스가 뒤를 받친다. 팰럿은 45%의 도수 위로 건포도와 후추, 쌉쌀한 초콜릿이 이어지고 중반 이후 떫은 결이 올라온다. 피니시는 길지만 포도 껍질의 거친 산미가 남는다. 코일틴이라는 이름으로 나온 사마롤리 보틀링이다.

it’s a cleaner, less meaty version of the Gran Reserva, but it’s just as fragrant and almost perfumy. This time it’s more sandalwood and incense, maybe roses, then cigars and the usual dried fruits, figs, raisins… There’s also some charcoal, wood smoke, then more bitter chocolate, dried porcinis... I have to say I like this nose
restaurant Palate
I think it is struggling a bit after the Gran Reserva. There’s a bitterish, greenish astringency that makes it a little hard. Grape pips, chlorophyll, pickled ginger… But there are also much nicer sides, of course, the raisins, the figs… I also find a little gunpowder and tar
timer Finish
long but very grapey, acrid, kind of raspy. A one month old Pauillac ;-)
