Tasting Notes
노즈는 셰리 계열의 단맛과는 거리가 멀고 양초 밀랍과 아몬드 페이스트, 파라핀이 먼저 두드러진다. 매캘런에서는 드문 약재 같은 뉘앙스와 분필 같은 미네랄이 뒤를 받친다. 팰럿에서는 45.2%의 무게 위로 잉크와 백묵 같은 건조한 결이 이어져 호불호가 갈릴 만하다. 피니시는 제법 길지만 풀 향과 왁스가 쌉쌀하게 남는다. 21년 파인 오크 호그스헤드가 만든 개성적인 보틀링이다.

absolutely not a sherry monster, rather the opposite, hence slightly un-Samaroli as far as Speysiders are concerned. I’m rather finding some candle wax, almond paste, paraffin, and this unusual medicinal side (unusual in Macallan, that is). A little absinth, perhaps? Also a chalkiness. A strange-ish Macallan
