Tasting Notes
연한 골드 빛에서 짐작되듯 리필 셰리의 영향은 절제돼 있다. 노즈에서는 아몬드 밀크와 바닐라가 먼저 두드러지고 소나무 수지와 옅은 피트 연기가 예상 밖의 층을 만든다. 팰럿은 몰트와 견과, 캐러멜 쪽으로 안정적으로 이동하며 곡물 뉘앙스가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 피니시는 중간 이상 길이로 고소함과 바닐라가 남는다. 26년을 보낸 1973년 매캘런치고는 화려함보다 정갈한 구조감이 인상적이다.

a little more expressive than the old Spinola at first sniffing and quite different. More on almond milk, vanilla and oak, with unexpected hints of peat, a little vanilla, hints of pine resin and fresh putty. Nice balance, with a little more oomph than the FO’s of similar ages but a comparable profile. Maybe something metallic

maybe more ‘mundane’ at this stage, malty, nutty and caramelly. Also vanilla and cereals

medium long, nutty and vanilled. Maybe a bit ‘blendish’ but it’s otherwise perfectly okay
