Tasting Notes
연한 금빛이 잔에 맑게 어린다. 향은 피노 셰리처럼 마르고 풀기가 있어 생호두와 사과 껍질, 아몬드가 먼저 드러나고 그 뒤로 마른 건초와 가죽, 옅은 바닷모래의 기운이 스친다. 51.1도의 입맛은 코보다 둥글고 달아 감귤과 생강, 키니네의 쌉쌀함이 이어지며 자두 증류주 같은 수지향이 잠깐 비친다. 매킬롭스 초이스가 고른 1990년 싱글 캐스크는 맥캘란치고 드물게 건조한 성격이며, 생강과 쓴 오렌지의 여운이 길게 이어진다.

this baby’s completely different and certainly as dry and leafy as some true fino – or manzanilla for that matter. Bags of fresh walnuts, apple peelings, almonds and plain grass as well as something faintly coastal, maybe beach sand. Goes on with some hay and leaves, leather and just touches of orange squash. Not really lush, to say the least, one of the drier Macallans out there, even if it does get a little fruitier over time
restaurant Palate
rounder and sweeter, and very pleasantly citrusy, with also quite some ginger and cinchona, with something slightly fizzy. Also a little resinous and maybe eau-de-vie-ish (plum spirit) before it starts to gear towards bitter oranges. Walnuts

long, gingery and grassy. Pepper and bitter oranges in the aftertaste
