스페이사이드 크레이갤라키의 부드러운 언덕 위에서 자란 맥캘란 1991은 13년의 시간을 침착히 견딘다. 잔에는 짙은 호박빛이 또렷이 깃들어 있고 재가공 호그스헤드가 빚어낸 건포도와 시나몬, 잘 익은 사과의 향이 일어난다. 43도의 부드러운 무게로 입안에서는 토피와 셰리의 단맛, 그리고 옅은 오크 향신료가 둥글게 펼쳐진다. 여운에는 캐러멜과 잘 마른 가죽이 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
oh well... this is, I mean, just amazing. Incredible smokiness and a full tanker of acacia honey as well as lilac, beeswax and leather polish. Goes on and on... ripe apricots, flower nectar, Seville oranges, orange syrup, whiffs of seawater... Absolutely exceptional. Gets smokier with time (Havana smoke). Hints of apple peelings. This nose just leaves me speechless (who said good news?)

amazingly lively, nervous, fruity... Apricot jam, ripe plums, chestnut honey, toasted brioche, high-grade pepper... Totally fantabulous. I’m afraid the rest will be censored by our anti-maltoporn police department
