Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 셰리 캐스크 숙성작치고 매우 건조한 인상이 먼저 두드러진다. 호두와 마른 건초, 피노 셰리를 닮은 드라이함이 앞서고 나무껍질과 가죽, 비터 초콜릿이 뒤를 잇는다. 팰럿은 노즈보다 과실이 살아나 오렌지와 자몽의 산미가 드러나지만 생강 토닉 같은 알싸함과 호두주의 텁텁함이 함께 발전한다. 49.6도의 도수는 30년 숙성분치고 힘이 남아 있어 구조감을 지탱한다. 피니시는 길게 이어지며 쌉쌀한 생강 뉘앙스로 마무리된다.

a rather dry version, rather on walnuts and hay so quite fino-ish, with some grass, bark, leaves, leather and bitter chocolate. The exact opposite of the Murray McDavid, in any case a very dry version of ex-sherry Macallan. There’s even a little antiseptic, hospital-style, that’s not immensely ‘Macallan’ in my experience

fruitier but also a little odd, with some cardboard, ginger tonic, walnut wine and wee touches of plastic. Other than that, we have oranges and grapefruits

long but a notch bitter and gingery
