Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 옅은 금속 냄새 위로 건포도와 달콤한 와인 같은 단내가 올라온다. 뒤이어 오렌지와 마른 건초, 버지니아 담뱃잎이 따라붙는다. 한 모금 머금으면 건포도와 수지 같은 끈적한 단맛이 앞장서고 마멀레이드와 퍼지가 이어지지만 담뱃잎이 다소 크게 목소리를 낸다. 삼킨 뒤에는 고무 같은 기운이 뒤늦게 올라와 마무리를 흐린다. 짙은 골드빛의 이 10년 숙성은 균형에서 아쉬움을 남긴다.

something a little metallic, perhaps, on top of some raisins and sweet wine. Also oranges, hay, very sweet rum (Zacapa – ach, excuse me), and a little Virginia tobacco
restaurant Palate
okay, raisiny and resinous, with marmalade, sweet tobacco, more raisins, a little fudge… Very good, of course, but with this style, balance has to be perfect. In this case, the tobacco’s a little too loud, IMHO
timer Finish
good length, but with a little too much rubber coming out. The aftertaste is frankly rubbery. Loses a lot of points here
