aromatically impaired? Not quite but I wouldn’t say there’s much happening here. A bit of grass, a little grains, overripe apples, touches of vanilla, ideas of fruitcake, hints of honey… It’s all whispering and very discreet, but that should change on the palate

it does, sweet barley and maple syrup, a little toffee and fudge, roasted nuts, honey, then a little herbal tea (eglantine) and marmalade

shortish, a tad more bitter and grassy
