Tasting Notes
호박빛이 잔 안에 진하게 고여 있다. 향은 버터스카치와 초콜릿, 모카가 단정하게 자리를 잡고 물을 더하면 아몬티야도 셰리와 호두, 볶은 땅콩과 블랙 누가가 차례로 열린다. 55.3도의 입은 강하고 케이크처럼 진해 살짝 태운 브라우니와 피칸 파이, 잘 숙성된 사냥 고기의 감칠맛이 몰트 위에 얹힌다. 퍼스트필 셰리 호그스헤드가 만든 이 밀도는 물 몇 방울에 더 깊어진다. 여운은 길고 부싯돌의 기운이 감초, 마멀레이드와 함께 이어진다.

plain and pure butterscotch and chocolate, plus some mocha and moka. My favourite these days would stem from Ethiopia. That's all, but watch what will happen once we've added water… With water: amontillado! More walnuts, roasted peanuts, black nougat, then espresso, raw chocolate, flints, notes of sour cherries. A nose that's displaying touches of Chambertin. Oh and I cannot not think of Benromach here and there, but that's probably my mind playing tricks on me
restaurant Palate
really punchy and extremely cakey. Slightly burnt brownies, pecan pie, some meat (say well-aged grouse meat, minimum two weeks!) and rather a lot of malt. Pretty gamey this far. With water: even more on game, rocks, peppers and cloves, caraway, earth, eggplants, mint sauce, more sour cherries, pipe tobacco…

long and meatier/flintier yet. Venison plus retsina, liquorice and marmalade
