Tasting Notes
맑은 밀짚빛이 잔 안에 옅게 깔린다. 향은 서양배 증류주와 제빵용 이스트, 갓 벤 풀에서 출발해 오트밀 죽과 옅은 장작 연기, 민트와 감초로 이어진다. 셰리를 입지 않은 리필 버번 캐스크의 성격이 처음부터 끝까지 선명하다. 입에서는 예상보다 건조하고 몸집이 커 몰트의 곡물감이 앞서고 감초를 지나 다시 서양배와 잘 익은 사과로 돌아온다. 여운은 제법 길게 이어지며 같은 과일의 결이 흐트러짐 없이 남는다.

all on pear spirit, baker’s yeast, newly cut grass and porridge, with also a little wood smoke and whiffs of fresh mint and liquorice. Uncomplicated but exactly what you’d expect from a very young un-sherried Macallan. Less nutty/malty than the young Fine Oaks, for instance
restaurant Palate
drier than expected, and bigger as well, with more maltiness and less porridge. Good liquorice and then we’re back on pears and ripe apples
