Tasting Notes
맑은 금빛이 잔 속에서 가볍게 흔들린다. 향은 오렌지와 귤, 붉은 사과가 앞장서고 여러 겹의 꿀과 들꽃, 잘 익은 바나나가 뒤따르며 나이를 잊은 생기를 보여준다. 입에서는 오크가 존재하되 마르지 않고 딸기와 구스베리, 살구와 복숭아의 과즙이 미끄러지듯 이어진다. 1968년 원액을 2009년에 병입했음에도 과일의 선명함이 살아 있다. 여운은 의외로 길게 이어지며 감초와 생강, 육두구가 마지막을 정리한다.

ah yes, this one is typical of many old Macallans by G&M – proof that warehouses and locations have an influence, don’t you think? Many fruits such as oranges and tangerines, fruity apples (large red ones, for example), various honeys, flowers from the fields, syrups and liqueurs, bananas… It’s fresh and mucho lively! Let’s hope the palate won’t be too dry and oaky…

great news, there’s some oak of course but it isn’t drying or cardboardy, not at all. Many fruits, strawberries, ripe apples, gooseberries, apricots, peaches… It’s all extremely drinkable!
