Tasting Notes
노즈는 스페이몰트 계열보다 훨씬 또렷하게 깎여 있다. 아몬드와 민트가 앞서고 젖은 백묵을 연상시키는 미네랄이 뒤를 받치며 곡물 뉘앙스는 오히려 옅다. 1946년 셰리 우드에서 33년을 보낸 위스키치고 색은 옅은 볏짚에 가깝다. 팰럿은 노즈의 선명함을 그대로 이어받아 깨끗하고 날이 서 있으며 시간이 지나며 뮤즐리와 블루베리로 확장된다. 피니시는 길고 감초가 분명하게 남으며 쌉쌀한 뿌리 뉘앙스가 끝을 잡는다.

much more ‘chiselled’ than the Speymalt, sharper, purer and cleaner. Less yeasty/porridgy and much more almondy, minty and a little mineral (wet chalk)

very close to the Speymalt as far as the general profile is concerned but a little cleaner, sharper and, again, purer. Hints of what tastes like peat but it can’t be peat, can it? Gets bigger over time. Muesli, blueberries
timer Finish
long, with quite some liquorice again and hints of gentian
