Tasting Notes
잔을 코앞에서 돌리면 1939년 증류액에서 뜻밖의 연기가 먼저 피어오른다. 아카시아 꿀과 라일락, 밀랍과 가죽 광택제가 그 뒤로 끝없이 이어지고 잘 익은 살구와 세비야 오렌지, 바닷물 기운까지 스친다. 한 모금 머금으면 43도라는 숫자보다 훨씬 생기 있게 살구잼과 밤꿀, 구운 브리오슈가 뛰어오른다. 삼키면 고급 후추의 알싸함이 혀 위에 오래 남는다.

oh well... this is, I mean, just amazing. Incredible smokiness and a full tanker of acacia honey as well as lilac, beeswax and leather polish. Goes on and on... ripe apricots, flower nectar, Seville oranges, orange syrup, whiffs of seawater... Absolutely exceptional. Gets smokier with time (Havana smoke). Hints of apple peelings. This nose just leaves me speechless (who said good news?)

amazingly lively, nervous, fruity... Apricot jam, ripe plums, chestnut honey, toasted brioche, high-grade pepper... Totally fantabulous. I’m afraid the rest will be censored by our anti-maltoporn police department
