Tasting Notes
노즈는 둥글고 말린 과일 쪽으로 기울어 있다. 건포도와 무화과가 먼저 드러나고 민트와 캄포르 같은 서늘한 향이 뒤따르며 발전한다. 팰럿은 감초와 말린 과일이 이어지며 정직하게 좋지만 40도라는 낮은 도수가 표현의 폭을 다소 눌러 놓는다. 피니시는 짧을 듯하다가 의외로 길게 이어져 마롱글라세와 헤더 꿀, 건포도가 차례로 드러나고 짭조름한 감각이 마지막에 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 1936년 빈티지의 고든 앤 맥페일 병입이다.

not very different from the Thirties, just rounder and more on dried fruits, leaning slightly towards the Fifties. Still, you see, it’s very charming, especially as hints of mint and camphor start to emerge
restaurant Palate
this has become really good, on liquorice and dried fruits. I’ll keep it brief. It’s just those darn low strengths that hold it back a little – a shame, they really should have gone for 45/46% vol
timer Finish
short but lovely. Marrons glacés, heather honey, raisins, and even a clear saline touch in the aftertaste. Not so short after all
