노즈는 43도라는 도수에 비해 향이 또렷하다. 오크와 마른 풀이 앞서고 사과 껍질과 부싯돌 같은 미네랄이 뒤따르며 시간이 지나면 풍선껌 같은 단 향으로 발전한다. 팰럿은 부드럽고 달다. 사과 콩포트와 꿀, 구운 브리오슈가 순서대로 드러나고 바닐라가 마무리를 받친다. 피니시는 중간 이상 길이로 맥아와 꿀이 이어지고 옅은 탄닌이 깊게 머문다. 매캘란글렌리벳 표기가 남아 있던 시기의 고든 앤 맥페일 15년이다.

smooth and very sweet, with more oomph than in the 12 once again. Apple compote, honey, toasted brioche and a little sweet oak, with a little mint in the background. Quite some vanilla

medium long, balanced, malty and honeyed, some tannins in the aftertaste
