Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 처음엔 거칠게 맥아와 캐러멜이 올라오고 곧 축축한 지하 저장고의 나무 냄새가 섞여 든다. 코를 더 대면 서양배와 초콜릿, 옅은 나무 연기가 이어진다. 한 모금 머금으면 53.3도가 풀바디로 입을 채우며 감초와 캔디 설탕, 비터 오렌지 마멀레이드가 지나간다. 삼키고 나면 오크 탄닌과 캐러멜이 길게 남는다. 밀짚빛 색과 달리 맛의 무게는 단단하다.

starts a bit rough but pleasantly so, quite malty and caramelly. Quite some oak as well, hints of fresh mint, a little wood smoke… Gets then also a little mouldy (moist cellar, wet wood – yes, barrels). Hints of pears, chocolate and liquorice. Rather lively, getting fruitier over time
restaurant Palate
rather nervous again, starting very malty once again, with quite some liquorice and candy sugar, then bitter oranges and marmalade. Full bodied and assertive, with again kind of a smokiness in the background. Very faintly rubbery
timer Finish
long, with the oak playing a larger part now. Caramel and tannins
