Tasting Notes
오랜 세월이 응축된 짙은 적갈색이 잔 속에 깊이 잠겨 있다. 1967년 증류된 35년 숙성 원액답게 코에는 말린 과일과 오렌지 마멀레이드, 오래된 오크 향이 겹겹이 피어오른다. 입에서는 건포도와 꿀, 가벼운 향신료가 부드럽게 어우러지며 풍부한 과실감을 남긴다. 48.6도의 절제된 도수가 노련한 균형을 만든다. 이 맥캘란은 그윽한 단맛과 함께 여운이 천천히 사라진다.

air Nose
caramel and slightly burnt nuts and almonds, with a touch of char and rubber coming through, followed by new leather and hardwood shavings (walnut, cherry, that sort of thing). Also, some green walnuts, shoe polish, allspice, and a bit of orange peel. Not bad at all
restaurant Palate
very much in line with the nose, with a rather bitter and peppery sherried side, plus some acidic, bitter coffee (which we like), then mixed spices and raw cinnamon. The green walnuts remain upfront, and we do quite like that bitterness
timer Finish
long, becoming nuttier but still spicy. Ginger and turmeric, with bitter oranges and a touch of Cynar in the aftertaste
