Tasting Notes
거의 물빛에 가까운 흰 볏짚색이 잔 안에서 서늘하게 반짝인다. 럼 캐스크를 거쳤지만 이 1991년 16년은 뜻밖에 산뜻해서 향에서 마른 건초와 요구르트, 딜과 파슬리 같은 풀의 결이 먼저 열린다. 그 뒤로 화이트 럼과 오래된 나무의 향이 스치듯 지난다. 50도의 입안은 캔디 슈거와 구운 사과가 앞서고 볶은 커피콩의 고소함이 뒤를 받친다. 여운은 길게 이어지며 사과주를 닮은 서늘함을 남긴다.

ha! That’s Macallan?! Fresh like a Lowlander, almost grassy. Sour milk, Indian yoghurt (lassee), hay, straw… Butter, dill, parsley, and yes, hints of white rum and old wood. Rather nice! Develops on cider
restaurant Palate
bold and powerful, yet a little sweetish. Candy sugar, cooked apples, tea. Not too complex, I’d say. Quite grassy. Coffee beans. Not much development. Hints of cold, sugared coffee – or Nescafe.
