Tasting Notes
잔을 여러 번 돌려 향을 끌어올리면 럼 캐스크의 흔적이 사탕수수와 흰 럼의 달큰함으로 먼저 드러난다. 코를 더 대면 건초와 사워크림 같은 서늘한 향이 그 아래 깔린다. 한 모금 머금으면 13년이라는 나이답게 곡물의 힘이 앞서고 조린 사과와 설탕 단맛이 뒤를 받친다. 삼키면 50도의 알코올이 혀뿌리를 스치고 옅은 커피와 풀 내음이 마지막에 남는다.

ha! That’s Macallan?! Fresh like a Lowlander, almost grassy. Sour milk, Indian yoghurt (lassee), hay, straw… Butter, dill, parsley, and yes, hints of white rum and old wood. Rather nice! Develops on cider
restaurant Palate
bold and powerful, yet a little sweetish. Candy sugar, cooked apples, tea. Not too complex, I’d say. Quite grassy. Coffee beans. Not much development. Hints of cold, sugared coffee – or Nescafe.
