Tasting Notes
맥캘란이라기보다 로우랜드 몰트에 가까울 만큼 노즈가 신선하다. 요구르트 같은 유산미와 건초, 짚, 버터가 앞서고 딜과 파슬리의 초록 기운이 뒤따르며 흰 럼의 힌트가 스친다. 팰럿은 50도의 도수로 힘 있게 시작하지만 사탕수수 단맛과 익힌 사과, 홍차 쪽으로 기울며 복잡도는 크지 않다. 피니시는 길지만 윤곽이 흐릿하고 커피 원두의 고소함이 남는다. 럼 캐스크가 스피릿을 가볍게 끌고 간 1991년 보틀링이다.

ha! That’s Macallan?! Fresh like a Lowlander, almost grassy. Sour milk, Indian yoghurt (lassee), hay, straw… Butter, dill, parsley, and yes, hints of white rum and old wood. Rather nice! Develops on cider
restaurant Palate
bold and powerful, yet a little sweetish. Candy sugar, cooked apples, tea. Not too complex, I’d say. Quite grassy. Coffee beans. Not much development. Hints of cold, sugared coffee – or Nescafe.
