Tasting Notes
잔에 노을빛 호박색이 은은하게 어린다. 스페이사이드의 매캘런이 리필 호그스헤드에서 25년을 보내며 잘 익은 사과와 바닐라, 옅은 오크의 향을 부드럽게 펼쳐낸다. 리필 캐스크답게 셰리의 무게보다 과일의 맑은 단맛이 앞선다. 52도의 도수에도 질감은 비단처럼 매끈하게 흐르고, 꿀과 말린 살구의 단맛이 혀 위로 천천히 번진다. 사반세기의 숙성이 거친 모서리를 모두 깎아내 단정한 균형을 남긴다. 여운에는 잘 익은 과일과 은은한 오크 향이 길고 우아하게 이어진다.

this baby’s completely different and certainly as dry and leafy as some true fino – or manzanilla for that matter. Bags of fresh walnuts, apple peelings, almonds and plain grass as well as something faintly coastal, maybe beach sand. Goes on with some hay and leaves, leather and just touches of orange squash. Not really lush, to say the least, one of the drier Macallans out there, even if it does get a little fruitier over time
restaurant Palate
rounder and sweeter, and very pleasantly citrusy, with also quite some ginger and cinchona, with something slightly fizzy. Also a little resinous and maybe eau-de-vie-ish (plum spirit) before it starts to gear towards bitter oranges. Walnuts
timer Finish
long, gingery and grassy. Pepper and bitter oranges in the aftertaste
