Tasting Notes
짙은 앰버가 잔 안에서 무겁게 흔들린다. 25년을 보낸 이 1980년 리필 호그스헤드는 셰리를 거쳤음에도 방향이 마른 쪽이라 호두와 건초, 나무껍질의 향이 앞에 놓인다. 그 아래로 가죽과 쌉쌀한 카카오가 조용히 배어 있다. 50도의 입안은 과실 쪽으로 조금 열려 오렌지와 자몽이 지나가지만 생강과 호두주의 떫은 결이 함께 따라온다. 여운은 길고 쌉쌀하며 생강의 매운 기운이 끝까지 남는다.

a rather dry version, rather on walnuts and hay so quite fino-ish, with some grass, bark, leaves, leather and bitter chocolate. The exact opposite of the Murray McDavid, in any case a very dry version of ex-sherry Macallan. There’s even a little antiseptic, hospital-style, that’s not immensely ‘Macallan’ in my experience

fruitier but also a little odd, with some cardboard, ginger tonic, walnut wine and wee touches of plastic. Other than that, we have oranges and grapefruits

long but a notch bitter and gingery
