Tasting Notes
오랜 숙성을 거친 짙은 호박빛이 잔 속에서 윤기 있게 가라앉아 있다. 1979년 증류돼 30년을 보낸 이 맥캘란은 리필 셰리 버트에서 절제된 건자두와 말린 무화과, 오래된 가죽의 향을 천천히 피워 올린다. 한 모금 머금으면 잘 닦인 오크의 광택과 은은한 꿀, 호두 껍질의 쌉쌀함이 차례로 번진다. 45.1도의 부드러운 알코올이 혀를 감싸며 과하지 않은 단맛을 남기고, 세월이 다듬은 향신료의 온기가 끝까지 따라온다.

more on brownies, chocolate cake, darker molasses, darker honeys, darker fruitcakes, a drop of soy sauce, beef bouillon… And really a lot of chocolate. I think they should tell us about the kind of sherry too, about the bodegas… In any case, I do enjoy this very chocolaty nose
restaurant Palate
it is very different on the palate, rather more 'stewed', on cakes, Jaffa cakes, cinnamon chocolate, ginger cookies… It would never stop getting spicier, the European oak is having the lead here
timer Finish
rather long, all on chocolate and oak spices, with a dominant cinnamon. Not quite my favourite part
