Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 밀짚처럼 옅은 색이 가볍게 돈다. 코를 가져가면 서른두 해를 보낸 원액이라기엔 놀랄 만큼 산뜻한 풀 냄새가 먼저 나오고 요구르트와 건초, 버터와 딜이 뒤를 잇는다. 한 모금 머금으면 49.8도의 힘이 곧게 뻗으면서도 사탕수수 같은 단맛과 익힌 사과, 홍차가 차례로 지나간다. 셰리를 걷어낸 매캘란이 어떤 얼굴인지 보여 주는 보틀링이다. 삼킨 뒤에는 볶은 커피콩이 조용히 남는다.

ha! That’s Macallan?! Fresh like a Lowlander, almost grassy. Sour milk, Indian yoghurt (lassee), hay, straw… Butter, dill, parsley, and yes, hints of white rum and old wood. Rather nice! Develops on cider
restaurant Palate
bold and powerful, yet a little sweetish. Candy sugar, cooked apples, tea. Not too complex, I’d say. Quite grassy. Coffee beans. Not much development. Hints of cold, sugared coffee – or Nescafe.
