Tasting Notes
덴마크 오덴세 매장을 위해 고른 이 캐스크는 셰리와 거리가 멀다. 노즈에서는 양초 왁스와 아몬드 페이스트, 파라핀이 먼저 드러나고 약재를 연상시키는 뉘앙스와 분필 같은 건조함이 뒤따른다. 팰럿은 고무와 잉크, 들소풀 보드카를 떠올리게 하는 낯선 방향으로 발전한다. 버번 배럴에서 31년을 보낸 원액이라기에는 우드의 개입이 적다. 피니시는 길지만 쌉쌀하고 풀내와 왁스가 강하게 남는다.

absolutely not a sherry monster, rather the opposite, hence slightly un-Samaroli as far as Speysiders are concerned. I’m rather finding some candle wax, almond paste, paraffin, and this unusual medicinal side (unusual in Macallan, that is). A little absinth, perhaps? Also a chalkiness. A strange-ish Macallan
